How long does the permanent makeup last?
While this service is similar to a permanent tattoo, the color will fade over time. Color and cosmetic longevity are based on the guest’s skin type, color of pigment used, and compliance with after-care procedures. One retouch within four weeks of original service is included in the service price.
What type of numbing is provided?
Over-the-counter numbing solutions are available and are applied by a Certified Micropigmentation Professional.
Is a follow-up appointment necessary?
As a service to our guests, we require a follow-up appointment within 30 days of the original service to answer any questions you may have and to capture an “after" photo. This follow-up appointment is included in the original service price.
How frequently should makeup be retouched?
For most guests one retouch within four weeks of original service, which is included in the original price, is sufficient. The guest’s skin type, color of pigment used, and compliance with after-care procedures are all factors which could affect the procedure’s longevity.

Who should not have these services done?
During the consultation, the certified specialist will review each guest’s medical history to determine eligibility. Examples of considerations are taking blood thinning medications, a history of liver or heart disease, or women who are pregnant.
What is the cost for the consultation fee? Is this fee used towards the service?
Realtà consultation fees are $50 and may be used toward any Permanent Cosmetics procedure, with the specialist who provided the consultation. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund consultation fees.

Does Realtà have a guarantee and/or refund policy?
Although Permanent Cosmetics services performed by Realtà utilize state-of-the-art techniques that only require one touch-up, there are various skin types and undertones, and they all accept and retain pigment differently. Therefore, no guarantees can be made. Should guest fall into the small percentage of those who do not easily retain pigment, additional touch-ups may be necessary (and are separately priced).
