Makeup Education with Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics

The Charles Penzone Salons recently welcomed Valerie, leading makeup artist and educator for Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics. This phenomenal make-up artist inspired us with her creativity as we collaborated to create new looks for spring and summer.

During our class, we reviewed the benefits of this amazing mineral make-up line and were introduced to the NEW Mineral Radiance Moisture Tint in four fabulous shades. We discovered new foundation looks by mixing Mineral Primer, or moisturizer with Loose Mineral Foundation, giving skin a flawless luminous look and then completing the look with “HI-DEF” Hydrating Mineral Perfecting Powder.  We were happy to learn that a small amount of pigment will give the skin, flawless, lightweight coverage.

With a renewed understanding of providing a flawless canvas, we moved on to discuss how to achieve the perfect smokey eye for all! This is our most requested, yet often misunderstood application, because it is often defined as a look, when it is actually a technique. We experimented with applications to define this technique, so that we are better able to provide each guest with the eye shadow application that looks best. Applied with colors, as well as traditional black and gray, smokey eye can be worn for day or evening, depending on the occasion.

At The Charles Penzone Salons, we are committed to bringing our guests the best products.  We value our guests and are honored to be a part of the every days and biggest days in each guest’s life.
